Couple: Jenna & Mark

Venue: The Vu, Bathgate

Date:  19th August 2018

With Summer coming to an end, the days are getting colder and the nights are drawing in. But we’re still busy squeezing in more wedding photography here at Top Table!

We were off to the Vu, just a few short weeks ago, to photograph the wedding of Jenna and Mark.  They call it the Vu for a reason too, it’s absolutely stunning to look down over the Bathgate hillsides from the Waterlily. It was a bright and early start, with me round at Jenna’s parents’ house, whilst Ewan was with the boys. There was lots of hustle and bustle with everyone getting all dolled up and ready for the happy occasion ahead.

Soon enough it was time for the big event, and it was a lovely ceremony that was very touching for all involved. For the hand-fasting, the plan had been to get Jenna and Mark’s son involved, but when the moment came the wee guy had a bit of stage fright :) It was very cute, and had the guests in stitches!

After the ceremony, there was just enough time to sneak down to the picturesque pier to grab some lovely romantic shots of the newly married couple. It’s always a highlight of the day for us, a photographers dream you could say! Then it was on to the speeches, where Mark had some really lovely, heartfelt, words for his new bride and there was barely a dry eye in the house!

Honestly, we were having such a ball that the day absolutely flew by! Before we knew it, it was time for the first dance, and then on to the big party in celebration of this joyous event! Phew, what a day! Thanks gain for having us along, Jenna and Mark. We had a fantastic time photographing your big day and we reckon these pictures and Mini-Movie tell the story really nicely :)
