Kirsty and Luke decided to hold their wedding day at Eden Leisure Village which is such a great venue. It’s lovely and private and has bucket-loads of rustic charm. Naturally then, we were delighted when they got in touch to ask us to photograph and film their big day.

We kicked off the day by visiting Kirsty and the girls who were getting ready a short drive from Eden Leisure Village. We always love to capture the fun and excitement of a wedding morning and it’s also a good time to get some photos and video of some of the small details. For instance, Kirsty and Luke’s beautiful ring box was lovingly crafted by Kirsty’s uncle Neil.

The morning always whizzes by in an instant so before long it was time to head off to Eden Leisure Village to grab some photos and video of Luke welcoming their guests. As I said, it’s such a chilled-out place that it’s a really nice place to be as a guest waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Kirsty soon arrived and she and Luke had decided to have a humanist ceremony. Always a fab choice and especially in fitting with the relaxed vibe they wanted for their wedding day. After Luke and Kirsty had figuratively and literally tied the knot, it was time to relax with their guests and enjoy the day whilst indulging in a little bite to eat and a glass of something fizzy.

The evening’s entertainment kept everyone captivated. First of all, the speeches were all just brilliant, they’re always a highlight of the day for us. Then further into the evening Luke and Kirsty were joined on the dancefloor by their very own saxophonist who strutted his stuff while blasting out those funky tunes – it was great to see everyone on the dancefloor having a great time.
