JAMES + CASEY’S LOVELY GLASGOW WEDDING

Glasgow University

We are so lucky to have a city like Glasgow on our doorstep as it is absolutely full of fantastic wedding venues. Two such incredible and iconic buildings are Glasgow University, where Casey and James decided to tie the knot, and House for an Art Lover where they chose to host the rest of their celebrations. Perfect venues for a really lovely couple.

My day started by popping in to see Casey and her bridesmaids in the morning to get some photos of the preparations getting underway and it was clear right away that it was going to be a very relaxed and fun day. The morning totally flew by and it was soon enough time to head over to the Glasgow University memorial chapel to grab a few photos of James before the ceremony as he greeted all the guests before the ceremony.

Someone who hadn’t been invited was Storm Dennis but he decided to show up right before the ceremony anyway. Not to worry, it certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits throughout the rest of the day.

After a beautiful wedding ceremony we headed outside to make use of the wonderful cloisters and get some great wedding photos of James and Casey as newlyweds.

Next port of call was over the river to House for an Art Lover. There was plenty of time for the happy couple to receive warm congratulations and well wishes from their legions of adoring fans before braving the elements to go back outside for a few more photos. The grounds at House for an Art lover are beautiful and provide an abundance of spots for perfect wedding photographs – we even got a few shots featuring Rusty the elephant 🙂

It was really nice to hear from all the speakers before dinner, including both James and Casey before everyone tucked into an absolutely delicious wedding breakfast. The rest of the evening followed the theme of the day and Casey and James and all of their nearest and dearest danced the night away and quite clearly had an amazing time.
