LAURA + ANTHONY’S FAB WEDDING AT THE VU
Laura and Anthony tied the knot at the end of August and we’re so chuffed we were invited along to photograph and film their wedding day. They chose the Vu to have the whole day which always ensures there’s a chilled out vibe
We started the day by visiting Laura and her pals as they were getting hair and make up applied for the coming day. There was certainly plenty of excitement in the air for the fun day that lay ahead. Wedding day mornings always whizz by in the blink of an eye so before long it was time to head off to the Vu and catch up with Anthony.
We arrived at the venue and checked in with Anthony and the boys but I think their attention was on a little football game that was going on. Soon enough the guests started to arrive and get themselves settled for the ceremony. Laura and Anthony had opted to have a humanist ceremony which is always a great choice as it means it’ll be a really personal and meaningful service.
There was plenty of time after the ceremony to head outside and get loads of photos of the guests as well as dedicating a little bit of time to getting some great wedding photos and film of Laura and Anthony enjoying life as newlyweds. Everyone was then ushered inside to take their seats for dinner and speeches. We love wedding speeches as it always allows the speakers a chance to tell stories from a couple’s lives, and a little bit of banter from the best man is always welcome 🙂
All that was left after a lovely wedding meal was to dance the night away. So after Anthony and Laura opened up the dancefloor with their first dance it wasn’t long before everyone else was joining them and throwing some shapes.
