ROSS + SAMMIE-JO’S FAB WEDDING AT DALMENY PARK
January is usually a really quiet month for us here at Top Table so when Sammie-Jo and Ross invited us along to photograph and film their wedding day at Dalmeny Park House Hotel we were delighted to be able to capture their big day instead of our usual hibernation 🙂
We started the day by visiting Sammie-Jo as she and her bridesmaids were getting ready for the day ahead. Wedding mornings are always loads of fun as you can feel the excitement and nervous tension building right up to the moment the happy couple meet at the bottom of the aisle. It’s safe to say being surrounded by your closest friends and family is the best way to start your wedding day… a cheeky wee glass of fizz always helps too.
In almost a blink of an eye, it was time to head downstairs for the ceremony. Sammi-Jo and Ross had opted for a humanist ceremony as it really allows for them to make the ceremony personal and unique to them. They’d asked Sandy Geddes to conduct their service and he always gives a lovely, personal service so it’s safe to say all the guests were treated to a beautiful ceremony.
Considering it was January the weather was pretty decent, so we managed to sneak outside a couple of times with Sammie-Jo and Ross to get some lovely photos and video of them enjoying their wedding day. Dalmeny Park has such beautiful grounds it was so good to get out and make the best of them.
After dinner, Sammie-Jo and Ross had booked Euan from Shades of Sax to strut his stuff and get everyone up on the dance floor. There’s nobody better at getting the party started and it’s safe to say that everyone had an amazing time throwing mad shapes for the rest of the night!
Thanks for having us along to photograph and film your day guys, we had an absolute blast!
