We had ALREADY SPENT AN AFTERNOON WITH LAURA AND ROSS WHEN WE MET UP WITH THEM A FEW MONTHS BACK FOR THEIR PRE-WEDDING PHOTOSHOOT, SO WE KNEW WHAT A LOVELY COUPLE THEY WERE AND THAT WE WERE IN FOR A GREAT DAY AT THEIR WEDDING.

We started off our day by heading in different directions to photograph both Laura and Ross as they were getting ready for the day ahead. There’s always a flurry of nervous excitement in the air on a wedding morning so we love being around to photograph those moments.

Of course, soon enough it was time to head along to Trinity Parish Church in Hamilton for the ceremony. It was a really lovely ceremony and with those two magic words (I do), Ross and Laura were officially husband and wife.

Time to pop back in the cars and head along the road to Rowallan Castle, a truly gorgeous wedding venue and especially so on such a beautiful sunny day. We stopped off at the old castle on the way into the grounds to get a few photographs before heading along to the main castle where Ross and Laura would celebrate the rest of the day with their friends and family.

Of course, before dinner, we heard loads of stories about Laura and Ross during the speeches and it’s always fun to photograph people speaking to such a warm and eager audience.

Soon enough it was time to get the dancing feet on and hit the dance floor, and there was no shortage of eager dancers. Even Laura’s gran was up rocking out to Metallica!

Meanwhile, we noticed that the light outside had got just a wee bit special so we whisked the happy couple outside for one or two final photos before bidding them farewell. Thanks so much for having us along to photograph your wedding guys, we absolutely loved it!
