We had already spent a lovely afternoon with Laura and Ross a few months ago during their pre-wedding photoshoot, so we knew just how wonderful they were—and that their wedding day was going to be something special.

We kicked things off by capturing both Laura and Ross as they got ready for the day ahead. There’s always a buzz of nervous excitement on a wedding morning, and we love being there to photograph those candid, meaningful moments.

Before long, it was time to make our way to Trinity Parish Church in Hamilton for the ceremony. It was a beautiful service, and with the exchange of two magic words—”I do”—Laura and Ross were officially husband and wife.

Then it was back in the cars and off to Rowallan Castle, a truly stunning venue that looked especially breathtaking in the sunshine. On our way into the grounds, we stopped at the old castle for a few photos before continuing to the main castle, where the celebrations would unfold.

Before dinner, we enjoyed listening to heartfelt and hilarious stories about Laura and Ross during the speeches—it’s always a joy to capture those moments of laughter and emotion shared with such an engaged audience.

As evening fell, the dance floor came alive, with no shortage of eager dancers—including Laura’s gran, who was up rocking out to Metallica!

Just as the light outside turned magical, we whisked Laura and Ross away for a few final portraits before saying our goodbyes. Thank you so much for having us along to capture your day—it was an absolute pleasure!
