We were back at two of our favourite venues a few weeks ago to photograph Louise and David’s wedding day – Oran Mor and Glasgow University Chapel.
We started our day by dropping in on Louise, as she was getting ready for the day ahead. It was already clear by the vibe in the house that it was going to be a really relaxed and fun day. Make Up by Gemma Hughes was who Louise had entrusted with her bridal make up, and she produced a really natural, elegant result.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner column_width_percent=”100″ position_vertical=”middle” gutter_size=”3″ overlay_alpha=”50″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ css_animation=”zoom-in” width=”1/2″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner column_width_percent=”100″ gutter_size=”3″ overlay_alpha=”50″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ css_animation=”left-t-right” width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Time absolutely flies by on a wedding day and it was soon time to head off to Glasgow University memorial chapel. It’s such a stunning place to tie the knot, and definitely a fantastic perk of being a Glasgow Uni graduate. After a lovely ceremony, the guests all headed for the cloisters to grab a glass of something sparkly and congratulate David and Louise.
We can’t be somewhere as iconic as the cloisters and not grab the opportunity to take some photos of Louise and David on their own, so we grabbed a few shots before making our way down to Oran Mor via the Botanic Gardens.
As we headed into Oran Mor for the speeches and remainder of the party, we noticed that Louise and David had hired a mobile coffee company. Something Brewed is run by Gillian and Craig, and is a fantastic touch to add to a wedding day – absolutely delicious coffee and just perfect for a little pick me up. We promise we weren’t paid to say that, we just Loooove coffee![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner column_width_percent=”100″ gutter_size=”3″ overlay_alpha=”50″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ css_animation=”right-t-left” width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The speeches were totally fab and gave everyone an insight into Louise and David, as they were growing up, and of course, their life together – that is after all the reason that led everyone to be sharing the day of celebrations.
Pacific wedding band were in charge of the evening’s entertainment, and I suspect these guys have done this before. They kept the dance floor packed all night playing a great mix of wedding classics before gearing up for a good old ceilidh to make sure everyone got a good work out 🙂
We absolutely loved being there to photograph your wedding, David and Louise, thanks so much for trusting us to capture your big day. These photographs will hopefully help provide you with loads of fun memories for years and years to come.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row unlock_row_content=”yes” row_height_percent=”0″ overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ shift_y=”0″][vc_column column_width_percent=”100″ align_horizontal=”align_center” back_color=”color-xsdn” overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”1″ border_color=”color-gyho” border_style=”solid” desktop_visibility=”yes” medium_width=”0″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ width=”1/1″ css=”.vc_custom_1487079561318{border-top-width: 1px !important;border-right-width: 1px !important;border-bottom-width: 1px !important;border-left-width: 1px !important;}”][vc_row_inner row_inner_height_percent=”0″ force_width_grid=”yes” overlay_alpha=”50″ gutter_size=”3″ shift_y=”0″][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text css_animation=”alpha-anim”]
