Couple: Linda + William

Date:  7th September 2019

It’s always an absolute pleasure to photograph a wedding at the House for an Art Lover in Glasgow, so when William and Linda got in touch to ask us to photograph their big day we were naturally delighted.

We started the day a couple of hours before the ceremony by photographing the house and surroundings before the guests started to arrive to help William and Linda celebrate their big day. Linda and her bridesmaids put the finishing touches to their make-up and got dressed up the stairs in the house as William welcomed everyone to what was shaping up to be a fab day.

The ceremony was a really lovely service. Linda’s daughter sang for the happy couple before they tied the knot and exchanged their awesome wedding rings.

Before the speeches there was plenty of time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. Big group shots are a great way to make sure all guests are included in a photo and just check out Linda’s son in the front row, haha :)

The grounds at the House for an Art Lover provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photography so were made sure we made good use of them as well as popping into the walled garden and even into Bellahouston Park for a shot next to the big elephant!

After dinner Linda and William treated their guests to a quite frankly show stopping first dance. They’d clearly spent loads of time choreographing it and they certainly put on quite a show – it was so much fun to photograph and film. Excellent! Just Excellent!

Thanks so much for having us along to photograph you amazing wedding Linda and William, we had a fab time and loved every minute of your big day. We hope you love these photos and mini movie as much as we do.
