Couple: James + Jennifer

Date:  7th July 2018

We were back at 29 Private Members’ Club a few weeks ago to photograph the wedding of Jennifer and James. We love a city centre wedding and 29 is certainly in the centre, which means there are so many great spots for wedding photography right on the doorstep.

Jennifer and the girls started the day off in Larkhall, where they got ready for the big day by having the traditional glass of fizz while hair and make-up was being applied.

Meanwhile, through in Glasgow, James and his groomsmen were getting themselves ready and trying to figure out how to put on a sash, YouTube to the rescue! Oh, and there was also a spot of light gardening… there’s always time to strim the lawn.

Back at the girls’ house it was nearing time to set off to Glasgow, and they were transported in style thanks to the uber-cool VW camper they had booked.

Jennifer and James opted to tie the knot with a humanist ceremony. It was a really lovely service in a fantastic setting, and it gave all of their friends and family an opportunity to learn a bit more about their journey to the big day.

A beautiful sunny day was waiting for us when it came time for the formal photographs. We also managed to sneak the couple out for a few photos before the speeches (and dinner). With the Gallery of Modern Art right outside we were able to get loads of fab photos with a simple loop of Royal Exchange Square.

Later in the evening after some brilliant speeches, it was time to hit up the Tardis and Buchanan Street for even more great wedding photographs before the party really kicked off.

Back inside all of the evening guests had arrived and it was time to dance the night away. The dance floor was shape city, and it was clear just how much fun James and Jennifer and all their friends were having.

Thanks for inviting us along to photograph your big day, guys. It was a total pleasure to capture your wedding and we hope you love your photographs and mini movie as much as we do.
