Taymouth Marina – Scotland
We absolutely love to photograph a wee elopement wedding here at Top Table, so we were absolutely thrilled when Lauren and Jordan contacted us to capture both their intimate ceremony at Taymouth Marina, and their big wedding bash a few weeks later.
Taymouth Marina is nestled on the banks of the fabulous Loch Tay, just a stones throw from Kenmore in glorious Perthshire and really is an exceptional spot for an elopement in our opinion. I mean, who wouldn’t want to stat on an actual private boathouse, and then be married at a spot of your choosing on the banks of the loch!? Their ceremony was everything you’d hope for when planning an elopement, with just a Celebrant, his wife as a witness and myself as the other one there to see this most important of events. The weather managed to play it’s part perfectly providing just the right amount of drama without raining for once.
Afterwards the newlyweds and I headed off for a little photo walk, where we got to stop off at the many many beauty spots along the road to Kenmore. We then parted ways until the big party in a couple of weeks time. What a day!
