Alladale Estate – Scottish Highlands
When Taylor and Marcus were searching for a venue for their Scottish elopement they wanted somewhere ruggedly beautiful, steeped in Highland history and with more than a touch of luxury. Well we think they couldn’t possibly have made a better choice than Alladale Estate in the stark and beautiful north of Scotland.
Theirs was a celebration of the ties that bind us. Close family and friends. A deeply personal and meaningful chance to celebrate their love story.
We arrived at Alladale early in the morning, and from the moment we arrived we could see exactly why Taylor and Marcus had chosen this venue for their day. Taylor was getting ready in one of the cottages, while Marcus was making his preparations up in the grand house with his best man. We jumped in the car and covered both locations to help tell the story of the day.
When it was time for the ceremony, why not just head outside onto the lawn where the team at Alladale had set up some chairs overlooking the Sutherland hills. We were even joined by a family of inquisitive deer as Taylor and Marcus tied the knot!
From there, there was ample time for everyone to relax and enjoy the hospitality of the estate for the rest of the day. From the cocktail hour with a private mixologist, to the Landrover tour of the surrounding lands, the team had arranged every last detail for the new Mr. and Mrs. What a weekend. We’re so happy to have been invited along to capture it.
