NICOLE & CRAIG’S MOST EXCELLENT WEDDING!
Nicole and Craig decided to get hitched at one of our favourite venues, the quirky and relaxing Eden Leisure Village!
It’s always fantastic to be out in nature for a wedding. We’re definitely outdoors addicts here at Top Table, and we can’t get enough of all the rural venues that are available these days for the more adventurous couple. Nicole and Craig had seen our pictures from a previous wedding at this venue, and decided to book us based on that. It’s always great if we can show couples a good example of our work at their specific venue, and we had a great day the last time we photographed here, a couple of years ago.
Nicole and Craig had gone for a humanist ceremony which, as usual, was awesome! We always enjoy the friendly and personal style of this type of celebration, and hearing all about Nicole and Craigs growing family of fur babies was very fun! Shortly after the ceremony we all headed outside to the outdoor area to enjoy the sunshine and have some nibbles. The newlyweds had picked an absolute corker of a day to tie the knot on, with cloudless skies and lovely warm temperatures for all their guests to enjoy. It really was a day to get the sun cream out, as my slightly burnt nose will attest to!
Its great to be out enjoying the sunshine, no doubt about it, but it can be a little harsh in the pictures! So, when it came time to grab some nice romantic shots of the new Mr. and Mrs. we decided it would be best to head up to the forest paths to take advantage of the shade they can provide. Of course, with such a large grounds it’s really helpful that Eden have a golf buggy available for getting from A to B on the day, we can’t have our couples walking all that way, not to mention our photographers too! 🙂 This also came in handy later on, when we headed up to the back of the grounds for a shot in the evening sunshine among the wildflowers, and with a fantastic view of the rolling Lanarkshire hills!
We had an amazing day with Nicole and Craig, and Eden Leisure Village was an absolute hoot too! We reckon these pictures just about get that across, have a look and see if you agree!
