Couple: Tracy & Kevin

Date:  28th December 2018

From the moment we first met Tracy and Kevin, just over a year ago, we knew this was going to be a very special day.

The big day was set to be held at the Dunblane Hydro, a fantastic place to get hitched if we do say so ourselves! Doubly so as there is access to some amazing scenery in the surrounding Stirlingshire countryside. This is exactly what Tracy and Kevin had planned, but more on that later!

We arrived bright and early in the morning, and thankfully it was a lovely crisp winters day, with all the great light that so typical at this time of year. The mornings preparations were in full swing with Tracy and the girls all getting their hair and makeup done and everyone buzzing around with the excitement of the day to come.

When it came time for the ceremony we were all down on the ground floor in the Stuart Lounge, which was decked out with a massive tree for Christmas and a roaring fire to boot! The ceremony its self was very touching, with personalised vows that Kevin and Tracy had written, with readings from family and friends too.

From there it was off for a quick whistle-stop tour of some favourite near-by locations with the happy couple. We’d had a second meeting close to the day, with Tracy and Kevin, just to go over their plan for the pictures and make sure could fit everything in whilst still giving them some time to spend with guests. First on the agenda was the historic old Stirling Bridge which looked great in the late afternoon sun! Then it was off to Bridge of Allan, and Tracy and Kevin’s local, a charming wee pub called The Rising Sun. We had a great time working in some new locations with these two, and we’re always really happy to give our couples pictures from spots that have been significant in their relationship.

Soon enough it was time for everyone to head in for the evenings reception, and everyone looked like they were having an awesome time throwing shapes on the dance floor into the wee small hours. What a wonderful day, and what a fantastic couple! Tracy and Kevin, it was an honour!
