What an absolute belter. One of our favourite venues, on a stonking summers day with a smashing couple of lovebirds. This is the wedding of Craig and Patrick!

When we arrived at Hotel Du Vin in the morning to photograph the guys getting ready, we could already tell it was going to be one of those days, one of those perfect wedding days where everything is lovely and it’s just such a fun day to shoot! The weather was already looking great for the day ahead. It seemed we were starting to welcome in Scotland’s annual two weeks of summer at last!

Cottiers was looking absolutely smashing, as it always does on a wedding day. We really love the ramshackle charm of the place, and we’re really lucky to work there very often. While all the guests started to filter in, we grabbed loads of nice shots of the venue and all the details Craig and Patrick had thought of to dress the room. When the Grooms did arrive they were greeted by their wee dog, Dobby, which was awesome and a great opportunity for a picture of the three of them together!

The ceremony was really lovely, and it was so nice to see all the boy’s friends and family assembled to witness them tie the knot together. In a particularly touching moment, the guys were walked down the aisle by their mums which had a few of the gathered guests in tears! It was soon time for everyone to head outside into the sunshine, and we were down to grab a big group picture of everyone before they could get a glass of fizz, so of course we got our skates on and made it happen quickly!

After some socialising and canapé snacking with their pals and families, we grabbed the newlyweds for a couple of sneaky pictures around Cottiers. Despite being smack bang in the middle of the West End of Glasgow, there are loads of opportunities for some great shots right in the vicinity. From the top of Gardener Street, looking down across the Clyde, to the wee park across the road, there really is a bit of everything!

We were so lucky to be here for Craig and Patrick’s big day, and we’re so happy they got a perfect day in one of our favourite Glasgow wedding venues. Have a look at our pictures from the day and we’re sure you’ll agree, it was an epic day!
