WWe had the best day photographing and filming the wedding of Emma and Josh at Boclair House, just a few weeks ago! Let us tell you all about it and we’re sure you’ll agree!

But first we have to rewind a bit. In the morning me and Ewan split up and headed along to see the guys and girls separately. It’s great to be able to cover both sides of the action in the morning, and at other key times through the day. Josh and the guys were getting ready at a local hotel, while the girls were at Emma and Josh’s place in Clarkston. There was loads happening at both ends, so we set about grabbing loads of good shots and video of everything as it unfolded.

Of course, soon enough it was time for everyone to head along to Boclair House for the ceremony, and Emma and Josh had gone for a lovely vintage VW Camper to ferry all of the wedding party along.  For their main car they’d opted for a fantastic Beauford open top. We love these old-style cars, as they really add a touch of style and elegance to the day.

The ceremony was awesome, with the story of Emma and Josh’s relationship and all the things that led them to this moment – along with a few tears and just the right amount of laughs too. Afterwards once all the assembled guests had had a chance to say congratulations to the happy couple, we thought it’d be bast to take advantage of the fleeting sunshine and head outside for some pictures. After all, Boclair House is set in some absolutely stunning grounds, and it’d be a shame to waste them! As it turns out, Emma and Josh are real naturals in front of the camera, so it was really easy to grab loads of great shots and video clips of them for their pictures and mini-movie.

As the afternoon continued on it was nearing the time for some food, after all there was a great big party to come and everyone was going to need a bit of energy for that. First of all we definitely had to have some speeches, though! It was great to hear from Emma’s Dad, Harry the best man, and of course the man himself, the man of the hour, Josh!

That just left the party, and I can tell you right now, it was a big one! This crowd definitely needed no encouragement to let their hair down and have a good old boogey! Ewan and I certainly had our work cut out just trying to keep up with them! What an absolute belter of a day all around then, and we’re mega chuffed we were invited along to capture it. Thanks for having us Emma and Josh and all the best for the future!
