It’s a rare treat being able to take a wee jaunt up to Pitlochry for a wedding, so we were naturally over the moon when Joanna and Luke invited us along to photograph their big day at the stunning Atholl Palace.
They had elected to hold the whole day at Atholl Palace which always makes for a nice relaxed pace to the day. We got there nice and early to capture the morning’s preparations, and of course any last minute nerves as well as all the excitement and anticipation of the day ahead.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner column_width_percent=”100″ position_vertical=”middle” gutter_size=”3″ overlay_alpha=”50″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ css_animation=”zoom-in” width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Afterwards, we all headed outside so Luke and Joanna could be absolutely covered in confetti. Hats off to all of your friends and family for making such an amazing, colourful archway for you!
We managed to convince everyone to follow us down to the bottom of the hill for a big group photo, and we think it was totally worth it looking at the resulting photograph. After we had done the rest of the family photographs we jumped in the car to take a quick drive down to Loch Faskally for some photos of the newlyweds on their own. It’s such a beautiful area that we could point our cameras just about anywhere and get great shots.
