Couple: Jude  + Andy

Venue: 29, Private Members Club, Glasgow

Date:  6th April 2018

It really is fantastic to be back in Glasgow city centre for a wee wedding.

As much as we love photographing in all the fantastic countryside locations, such as Loch Lomond and the many, many castles Scotland has to offer, it’s great to get a different type of pictures from time to time, and we absolutely love using the urban landscape to create great wedding photography for our couples.

Jude and Andy were married in the ultra-swish and exclusive 29 Private Members Club, in Glasgow’s iconic Royal Exchange Square. This is a seriously awesome venue, there’s so many nice rooms to choose from and the staff are just wonderful, making sure the couple’s day goes off without a hitch.

The ceremony was soon upon us, and Jude and Andy had chosen the stylish Supper Club room for the event. It was a really touching ceremony, with some lovely words from the Humanist celebrant, and we think we may have even spotted a few tears of joy amongst the friends and family who had gathered to celebrate with the newlyweds.

After that we all headed outside for a nice big everyone shot, always a good laugh! And then it was time to head back in for the speeches. It was really lovely to hear Andy tell everyone how much Jude means to him, and how happy he is to be spending the rest of his life with her :)

After everyone was well fed and watered we had just enough time for a little run round the centre of Glasgow, stopping off at some famous local landmarks like the Duke of Wellington statue and Mitchell Lane, not to mention Buchannan Street too! Jude and Andy were real naturals in front of the camera, and we think the pictures are pretty nice, even if we do say so ourselves!

Last, but by no means least, it was time for the evenings reception, the big do! We didn’t get a chance to catch their name (too busy taking awesome dancing shots!) but the band Andy and Jude had booked were seriously kicking out the jams! Everyone was up having a right good boogie, and we’re guessing it went on into the wee small hours!

Phew, what a day! What a couple! Thanks again for having us along guys, we had an absolute blast photographing your special day :)
